Brenna Furness discovered the practice of mediation during her first year of law school. Intrigued by the collaborative process, she completed the 31-hour Conflict Resolution Training and started volunteering in the Small Claims Court Mediation Program in the Ventura County Superior Court. For the past 10 years, Brenna has volunteered with CRI first as a mediator, also as a supervisor and finally as a board member.
Thrilled to be part of CRI in the role of Executive Director, Brenna brings 18+ years of small business experience, more than a decade of non-profit volunteer and board member experience, a degree in law and a deep desire to bring peace to her community.
When she’s not working, Brenna loves spending time with her husband and 4 kids, drinking good coffee and hiking the hills of her hometown, Ojai, where she lives with 4 generations of her family.
