Get Involved with CRI!

CRI is deeply grateful for the dedication of our volunteers—your time, energy, and creativity make our work possible. There are many ways to contribute, depending on your interests and availability:

• In the Office – Support our mediation team behind the scenes by helping with case intake, case management, and setting up mediations. No prior experience required—just a willingness to learn.

• At Small Claims Court – Volunteer as a mediator and see the process in action. Depending on caseload and experience, mediators may be assigned to co-mediate cases, gaining hands-on practice. Volunteer Mediators must be DRPA certified to mediate in Ventura County Small Claims Court. 

• On Committees – Lend your skills by serving on one of CRI’s committees, such as fundraising, outreach, training, or volunteer appreciation.

• Fundraising & Events – Host a fundraiser, sponsor an event, or help us organize community activities that sustain our programs.

• Community Ambassadors – Share CRI’s mission with your networks, connect us with potential partners, and help spread the word about our services.

Every role—big or small—helps expand our impact and strengthens peaceful conflict resolution in Ventura County.
